Samsung is a big name in the industry. When a brand like Samsung slashes its price down, it becomes a big news. Brands like Samsung very well understand the mindset of its consumers. They know how much their prospective consumers are willing to pay for a product.
The brand needed no introduction and no exaggerated marketing techniques before but with so many brands coming up with so much more to offer at similar or fewer prices, they definitely have to face cut throat competition. To gear up their game and make their presence felt, they slashed down the prices of their 2017 ‘A’ series by a whooping amount of RS.5000 making them a steal deal.
EARLIER AND NOW
A5 which was earlier priced at Rs.28,990 will now sell at Rs.22900 and A7 which was priced at RS.33490 has been slashed down to Rs.25900. It should be noted that these phones retailed at a price lesser than their Marked Price. The phones were available at Rs.26900 and Rs.30900 as this was the least price at which a retailer can sell these phones. With a fall in the MRP, the Market Operating Price has also slashed down. This is a great deal for the customers who fall in the purchasing bracket on Rs.20,000-Rs.30,000.
A series of Samsung offers great, user-friendly experience to its customers at relatively affordable price. These series are like a set off of their premium S series that are priced above Rs.50,000. They offer similar features and experience to its customers like the S series phone. For instance, A5 looks spectacularly similar to S7 as it carries the same screen size along with the same thin body and to add on, it weighs approximately the same. There aren’t any significant changes between the 2016 and 2017 model of A5 except for the smart positioning of its speaker grille.
Both the phones have amazing hardware as well as expandable software which wouldn’t ever make its user disappointed. In terms of camera capability, it offers a pretty decent picture quality. The software is super user-friendly wherein just swiping up or down will enable the user to change between the front and rare camera.
The user interface is pretty simple and friendly and the price bracket in which they were placed earlier made them the choice of many customers. However, after this drastic reduction in prices, the customers who are wishing to buy great phones under Rs.30,000are surely going to consider it. This is definitely a great decision b the brand and it definitely would help them capture the market share even more.
