SATYENDRA NATH BOSE – THE SCIENTIST

Satyendra Nath Bose played a major role in developing the quantum statistics along with theoretical physics.

A NEW TEST SUPPORTS THE NOTION OF QUANTUM HEAT IN A VACUUM

Some physicists had predicted that empty spaces might look and feel hot to a person travelling at rising speed. A new test has been performed which shows that the above notion is right.

WHAT IS VALENCE BOND THEORY?

Valence bond and molecular orbital theories are used to explain chemical bonding. Two atoms that have unpaired electrons in their orbitals can overlap to give rise to a chemical bond. A sigma bond ( σ ) forms when two atomic orbitals overlap between the nuclei of two atoms (also known as the internuclear axis).

KNOW MORE ABOUT WERNER HEISENBERG

Werner Karl Heisenberg was born on 5th December 1901 and died on 1st February 1976. He was a German physicist and philosopher who is best known for discovering the way of formulation quantum mechanics in the terms of matrices in 1925.

Comparing the Speeds of Sound and Light

Light and sound are natural phenomena that have fascinated scientists since ancient times. Their varying speeds too have been subject to painstaking hours of experimentation, exploration and enquiry, before scientists were able to obtain concrete information about it.
