WHAT IS ELECTROPLATING?
Electroplating is the process through which one metal is plated to another metal through hydrolysis. It is usually done for decorative purposes along with prevention of corrosion of metals.

A solar cell, also known as a photovoltaic cell, is an electrical device that helps in converting the light energy into electricity by using the photovoltaic effect, which is again, a physical and chemical phenomenon. It is a device (a form of photoelectric cell) whose electrical characteristics like voltage, current, resistance etc vary with exposure to light.
How does electricity flow in a conductor? It is because of the potential difference across the conductor. How is this potential difference measured? It is measured with a device called voltmeter.
Our life is incomplete without electricity. Whatever we do, be it watching television, working on laptop, using tube lights for light, using microwaves, charging batteries for our cars or vehicles, all of these need electricity. At the end of the month, we get an electricity bill which we need to pay. We need to pay for the amount of electricity we have used. How do we measure the amount of electricity used by us? We use ammeter for this purpose.
An electron that travels through wires of the external circuit witnesses resistance. Resistance is termed as the hindrance to the flow of electric charge. The electron does not travel from one terminal to another in a linear direct route. Instead, it follows a zig-zag path resulting from countless collisions with fixed atoms inside the conducting material.
We all know that every object has a tendency to move from a position of higher potential to a position of lower potential. Even winds flow from an area of higher pressure to an area of lower pressure.
Similarly, even electrical current follows the same convention.
